Lego Club Splits in Two Teams: Programming and Engineering
Teams are working in smaller groups. Here Marci, Marcos and Charlie program the second robot.
Each group has an assignment. Here Jackson, Emil and Alec are building the front axle of the robot.
Here Dr. De La Rue is giving a hand to Jordan and Alec to program their mission.
In the next weeks will have some guest speakers explain some of the challenges of responding to natural disasters - the theme of this years Lego Robotics Competition. A firefighter from AFD and a local MD will visit and help us understand how robotics could protect or help people in need.
There are many type of natural disasters that have been in the news lately, but the students want to focus on forest fires, because they are such a threat here in New Mexico.
